2026 Fundraiser for Raphael House
Every fall, the fields at Venechuk Farms fill up with pumpkins.
This year, we are putting them to work.
Pumpkins with a Purpose is a recurring community event which started in 2023, and it brings families, friends and neighbours out to the farm for a morning or afternoon of pumpkin fun and turns that fun into groceries for families in our community.
For every carload that books a visit and every pumpkin that goes home (or gets launched into the field), 10% of the proceeds are donated to Raphael House, a community-based organization that feeds families and offers support services in Langley. Every week, more than 400 Langley families pick up nutritious groceries and pantry staples through the Raphael House Food Hub, supported by a team of over 150 volunteers.

What is included in your visit:
Your 90-minute visit includes access to everything on the farm that day:
Pumpkin launch. Send a pumpkin flying with our single and team slingshots. Hit a target in the field and win a prize.
Pumpkin smash. Bats, hockey sticks and golf clubs are ready and waiting. Pick your pumpkin and let loose.
Pumpkin carving. Carving tools and tables are set up on site. Carve your pumpkin here, or take it home whole.
Potato cannon launch. Send a potato flying with the compressed air potato cannon. Hit a target in the field and win a prize.
Farm animals. Say hello to the animals that call Venechuk Farms home.
Free hot drinks. Warm up with complimentary coffee and hot chocolate.
Fall photo booth. Snap a family photo in front of our harvest mural.
Pumpkin pick-up. Pre-order your pumpkins online and they will be ready for you when you arrive. Extra pumpkins are available for purchase on site.

How it works:
Booking is by carload, so one registration covers everyone in your vehicle. Here is how to plan your visit:
1. Choose your date and time.
Pick a Saturday or Sunday between September 27 and October 31, then choose one of five 90-minute sessions. Each session is limited to 50 vehicles, so book early for the time you want.
2. Add your pumpkins.
Pre-order at least one pumpkin per person in your car. Add more if you plan to launch, smash and/or carve while at the farm, and add a few more to take home!
3. Check out online and confirm your reservation
Tell us how many are coming in your vehicle(s) and what you are driving, accept the liability waiver, and pay online by credit card.
4. Show up on time.
Bring your order confirmation number (a screenshot is perfect) and arrive at your session start time. The gate closes 30 minutes after your session starts.
Know before you go:
Book by carload. One booking covers everyone in your vehicle. We ask for your vehicle make, model and licence plate at checkout so we can check you in quickly at the gate.
Bring your confirmation. Have your order confirmation number ready on your phone. Your confirmation email has all of your event details.
Be on time. Your session is 90 minutes. Arrive no more than 15 minutes early and be ready to head out when your session ends. We will make announcements at the 30-minute and 15-minute marks.
Dress for the weather. This is a working farm in the fall. Bring rain gear and boots, and expect some mud.
Smash safely. Bats, hockey sticks and golf clubs are provided. Please do not bring your own smashing apparatus.
Waiver. A liability waiver is accepted for your carload when you register online.
Payment on site. Cash and tap are accepted at the farm for extra pumpkins.

Please arrive on time. Guests may arrive up to 15 minutes before their session. The gate closes 30 minutes after each session starts, and all vehicles exit at the end of the 90 minutes so the next group can come in.

FAQs:
Do I need to book ahead?
Yes. Each session is limited to 50 vehicles and bookings are made online in advance. Booking ahead guarantees your spot and your pumpkins.
How many people can I bring?
As many as fit safely in your vehicle. Your $10 booking covers the whole carload. We just ask that you pre-order at least one pumpkin per person.
What if it rains?
We run rain or shine. Bring rain gear and boots and dress for the weather.
Can I buy more pumpkins when I get there?
Yes. Extra pumpkins are available on site for $5 each, cash or tap.
Can I take my pumpkins home instead of launching them?
Absolutely. Your pumpkins are yours to launch, smash, carve or take home whole.
What happens if I arrive late?
The gate closes 30 minutes after your session start time. Please plan to arrive on time so you get your full 90 minutes.
Where does the money go?
25% of all proceeds are donated to Raphael House in Langley to help feed local families.
